Blood Oxygen App Not Available in Cyprus

Any luck with the blood oxygen app ? I have the same issue in Cyprus.

Hey all, when it will be available Apple will let us know. Do not trust anyone with private messages. Bw wise.

And if Apple care? I dont think so, Cyprus is just a drop in the ocean unfortunately.

I have received a call from Apple and they confirmed to me today that blood oxygen app will not work in Cyprus.

In the future they will add Cyprus but no timeframe was given.

I returned the iwatch back to istorm and got my moneyback.

Hi, I’ve also just bought the series 6 watch from istorm and noticed that the blood oxygen up is not supported in Cyprus. When I visited istorm in Nicosia, I tried the demo one there and it worked. The guy there confirmed that blood oxygen functions in Cyprus and this is also reported in Apple website.

So why does not work on the watch I’ve just set up?

We demand an official statement from Apple.

Also, the guy in istorm told me that although the ECG is not supported in Cyprus, if you go in Greece that it is supported there and you activate it while being there and then come back to Cyprus, it will still functions. He said that based on his own experience.

Has anyone tried this “trick” and it worked?

Apple confirmed to me that blood oxygen app does not work in Cyprus and they dont have a date to give for it to work.

Even if you go to Greece you cannot activate ECG because even if you try to activate it in greece your region is still Cyprus.

Well, if it is not supported on Cyprus, then it is a break of EU regulation, misleading and so on.

For turning on functions in other regions, I also heard that it should work based on geolocation and active mobile carrier. It should work. ECG does not work in Greece. My friends recommended use of UK or Germany.

Really annoyed with this as well. iStorm advertise this watch and mention the blood oxygen app in the description on their website. Then when you go in to buy it they tell you it’s not working in Cyprus and also the ECG doesn’t work. These guys are doing a disservice to Apple. Really annoyed I paid that much for a watch that doesn’t do what it was bought for. Maybe I will just return it.
