I just received my brand new Apple Watch 6 preorder, and although Cyprus is included in the list of regions where the app is supported, when I try to enable it I get a "Blood oxygen app is not available in your region." message.
Region settings are correct.

First you must call apple greece who are very helpful and polite.
You tell them the problem and in my case i have send all my iphone 11 pro max data that they requested and then they told me that blood oxygen is not working with Cyprus region .
I told them that i dont want the watch and i want my money back.
I was told to go to the istorm shop in Nicosia at a specific time and if they refuse to give me my money back then to send them an email and they would talk with istorm within 5-10 minutes.
Meanwhile Cyprus is still in the list of countries with Oxygen App.... And when will they enable it? When Watch 9 is out?
Do you know if I buy the watch from Greece or Germany blood oxygen and ECG app will work in Cyprus?
Did Apple respond to a message you sent to them? If yes, can you please post it here to see their official response?
They wouldnt give it to me in writing.
They told me by phone and by phone instructed istorm to return my money back
It will not make any difference.I had uk itunes account and it didnt work.after i changed it to CY account and again it didnt work.
Updated to 7.02, without unpairing and re-pairing though. Nothing changed.
I can confirm, nothing changed after upgrade to 7.0.2

So meaning if we want the blood oxygen app to work, we should buy watches from the UK/USA before the app can work?

Just got mine ,, and I honestly bought it for the oxygen levels app . And as the rest not working in Cyprus . So so so disappointed
I have already send an email to Ministry of Health but they do not response. I am sure that the issue is really simple to approve ECG and Oxygen app but our Ministry is so "busy"
