OK, this might not help anyone, but I hope Apple is reading this!
I read somewhere online that the persistent iPhone freezing issue when taking a screenshot may be related to a spike in device memory usage causing the phone’s software to freeze. For so long we have been told by many tech reviews that IOS does not require as much RAM as Android due to it’s superior memory management. Could it be that, with the increase in multitasking nowadays, the limits of this clever memory management are being reached?
What is worrying is that this is happening even on iPhone 12 Pro which has 6gb, up from 4gb on the iPhone 11 Pro series.
Perhaps the ‘frugal’ approach of Apple to phone memory is taking its toll :(
Give us more RAM apple, it can’t be that expensive, your loyal customers deserve your generosity and a phone that is functional and suited to the more heavy pattern of usage!
