Since the last iOS update - my calendar refuses to show information. Each time I try to open it - it says No Invitations and will not let me see anything else.

SierraHar- Thank you. This worked for me. I completely deleted my calendar App, and then went to the App Store and downloaded the calendar App that had productivity under the name and voila…my calendar appointments all reappeared. Thank you!

tried the fixes in this forum and some work briefly, but the issue comes back. however, i did find something that works, if a bit janky. when you get the "no invitations" screen, turn the phone on its side, into landscape view, and the calendar appears. Now when you turn it back into its normal orientation, the calendar is still there. hopefully, a real fix will come soon, but at least this only takes a second to see your calendar.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you need help getting your calendar to open. When it says "No Invitations" that is usually in your inbox of the calendar. You should see a "Done" option at the top. If you click Done it should take you back to your calendars. Learn more about Calendar here: Create and edit events in Calendar on iPhone.

I spoke with tech support yesterday and they had me check a bunch of settings including latest software. The thing that fixed for me was going into the calendar settings under Sync and changing from sync all events to sync events 6 months back. Exit and refresh calendar. I then went back in and changed it back to sync all events and it is working now. Hope this helps ;)

FIXED! I contacted support after trying the fixes here. This is what worked

go to your calendar

delete (yep scary)

go to app store

search “calendars”

select the App that has “productivity” under the name.

download/install

all appointments came immediately back on

I don’t have a total fix but if I turn my phone from its normal portrait position to the landscape view and then back again the “No Invitations” screen disappears and the calendar reappears. This has worked every time (at least 4X) that the “No Invitations” screen has appeared.

Thanks PMN48. Turning my phone from portrait position to landscape and then back again works for me too. Even when I close out of the app and go back in again - the calendar shows as it should in portrait view.

I have had this problem for months and have tried everything recommended on this thread. Most of them helped, temporarily. What I have found works for me every time is I totally close out the calendar when it is reading NO INVITATIONS. I close it and then go back in and my calendar is back. Quickest fix which seems to always work so far.

I read this from another user and it works great because I to use my calendar for everything. Turn your phone to landscape while in your calendar and it will reappear. Don’t ha e to shut down or delete and reinstall the app.

I have had this problem for months. Another user posted to turn your phone to landscape while on the calendar when it says ‘no invitations’. It works!!!!!

Apple will not help at all despite their update creating the problem. Good luck.

What I did was cut the phone off and turn back on worked for me

This fix worked for me. Deleted the App then downloaded it from the app store and my calendar and all my appts are there. Thank you!

The only thing that has consistently worked for me, is what someone else recommended which is to turn your phone to landscape when you have calendar open and then the details all seem to appear! When you turn your phone back to portrait whilst with the calendar open, you can then still see it. It only works whilst you have it open, so you have todo it again when you open calendar again, but at least you can see what’s in there!
