iPhone 12 not getting notifications

Yeah correct. The logic is, to set up phone and watch as new. Too bad I don’t have an iWatch so I wouldn’t know exactly how. Try to reset and setup your watch as new. When u ON ur watch, there should be pairing options, from backup or set up as new. Get the 2nd option.

As for the app data, I believe its completely gone. Just sign in to ur apple ID. Completely new reset phone will automatically loads some basic settings w your iCloud. All the other contents and data are gone (or in backup if u did one). However, I don’t recommend u to backup since that wouldn’t solve the notif issue. Like I said, this would be a total new phone without backup. U have to manually sign in each app (fb,ig,snapchat etc) all over again. Hope that helps.

It hasn’t fixed for all apps but for few. I am still working with engineering team and for me there is a lead who is looking into it. Right now I do not have any committed timeframes as when this will be fixed.

I’m having the same issue on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Seems to be happening with iMessages and SMS the most but some apps aren’t sending notifications either. Is this an iOS 14.2 issue? Anyone find a fix?

I am not getting notifications on my new 12 Pro Max and missing messages from work - not good! I also cannot receive calls or FT from my wife's phone-just her phone. I can receive sms texts from her but can't send IMessage or sms to her (yes, IMessage is on, yes, I've reset everything, yes, notifications are set to always, blah, blah). We both have the latest updates and nothing is working between our phones.

Despite thinking I’d cracked this a while back by removing other devices from the account, this proved not to be the case.

Just installed the latest beta, 14.3 beta 3, and it’s still an issue,

Getting pretty cheesed off, as people constantly think I am ignoring them (my wife, mainly!).

Is there any progress yet?!!! I’m actually having to call my secretary so she can call my wife to let her know my message. As much as I appreciate the amazing engineering, for a thousand bucks I should be able to call my wife. C’mon Apple, get this figured out! Please!!

I’m not getting some sms notifications too. I have IPhone 12 pro and people have sent me messages and I don’t even know unless I go to send the an sms and see it there. Not happy. This is happening with some other people I know too. A fix is needed ASAP.

I was told yesterday that Apple are releasing new software in the next few days, all we can do is wait and see and hope it fixes all the problems. I’d say it’s. Wry likely that it’s a phone software issue, and not the watch. Unless you have a cellular watch all of the notifications etc are passed through via the phone. I have my watch set to Mirror my Phone for notifications. I’m certainly doing nothing more now, like you, all my problems started a few weeks ago, maybe coincidentally when I bought the new phone. It cold we’ll be that the software somehow isn’t getting along with the newer phones and watches.

I am having issues with receiving YouTube audible notification alerts. My screen wakes up and I can see a banner on the Home Screen of a pop up but there is no sound. Other apps seem to be fine. It is most definitely a bug that is causing the issue. Hopefully the upcoming update will fix this.

Thank you for this. I haven't attached my Apple Watches but I did use a bluetooth speaker earlier today and ... I think I got a notification or two when it was on but I'm not sure. Thanks to your pointing this out I will keep an eye on this when I add my watches. As I noted, I was kind of afraid there were more then one problem happening here. Alley

I'm facing same issue I'm not getting any notification from gmail app even some of the other apps. I have reset my all setting done with everything but still same issue. Can anyone tell what we can do to fix it.

Does anyone know of Apple plans to fix this? It’s not just annoying- I was just discharged from the hospital for the second time in 2 weeks. I must be able to communicate with care givers! I’m on oxygen for pneumonia- this glitch of theirs could be fatal.

As far as I can tell they don’t care about the glitch. It’s been going on for ages now and no sign of it being fixed. There will be thousands out there who don’t use other Bluetooth devices with no issues but people who don’t are the ones with issues.

This is getting ridiculous. We’re all having the same issues. If I have another app open or if im listening to a pod cast it doesn’t beep/make a text noise and doesn’t show any texts. If I open up someone’s texts there will be a new one in our thread. This is nuts.

Is that we’re supposed to do? Delete everything and reinstall? I honestly don’t want to do that. I have texts and vmails from a family member that passed. I’m afraid I’d lose them, even if I backed it up. I can’t trust it no’s.
