Anyone else having issues with volume of notifications, keyboard sounds and even the lock sound being barely audible? The only thing I haven't done is reset the phone. I set it up from an iCloud backup and I didn't have this issue on my XS. If I restart the phone, it goes to normal volume for a moment then back to being quiet again. Sometimes I am not getting notification sounds at all.
Happps, and everyone else please try this fix. I just purchased the iPhone 12 Mini and was having this exact issue that Happps is having and going into Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > and DISABLING "Phone Noise Cancellation" This fixed my issue with the sound. Hopefully this works for everyone else. This is definitely a bug with noise cancellation.
iTunes reset doesn’t permanently fix it either. Again, wish people read this thread more to understand. Only Apple can fix this with an update. Nothing else. Absolutely nothing.
Nobody is making this issue public. I posted a couple on YouTube tech iPhone channels but nobody answer. True, it is an iOS software issue and Apple needs to fix it.
It’s just a recommendation it works for some not all. I agree Apple must fix this issue. But if we can suggest tips or feedback it doesn’t hurt to help.
Hi Jojo105jp. Are you saying you took your phone to Apple store and they reset it through ITunes. Is that mean the issue low volume notifications is fix on your iPhone 12.
First I noticed with the 12 pro max. Low keyboard clicks even on full volume.
Yes Apple should fix this. Its so annoying. I miss many of my notifications due to this low volume issue in my 12 pro max.

You just might have something there. Mine was on and the lock or closing sound is already louder. I'll try for a while and report back. Thanks
Absolutely. My typing sounds has been sounding fine ever since I made the change about an hour ago haha.
That a good find, but mine was already disable so no luck for me. Still low notifications volume.
I have the same issues with brightness on IOS14. I notice for some reason under display setting True Tone was on so i disable it. Also check Night Shift is off or on schedule.

update: sorry. lol. it worked for about 3 minutes then it went right back to what it was doing before.
Guess what... as I mentioned before I’ve send my old 12 mini back to apple and got a new one and the issue is still here on the new one...
