iPhone 12 Pro silicone case is turning ring/silent switch off

I have had an iPhone 12 Pro along with an Apple silicone case for four days now. From the start, I noticed that I kept finding my ring/silent switch in the "silent" position, even though I hadn't touched it. This happens 5-6 times every day with normal use.

It baffled me for awhile, but now I think that the edge of the silicone case, which is very narrow near the switch, is pressing against the switch and turning it off.

This is very annoying. Is it happening to anyone else?

Same issue here and it was driving me crazy. T-Mobile said it could be because I was still on Sprint, Apple said it was because i had Do Not Disturb scheduled. Nothing worked. A real mystery until I now can clearly see the the case doesn't wrap around the front edge enough and if you push on it it slides down and pushes the switch to silent. Poor design. I am disappointed because I otherwise like the case. I guess i have to return it and get another brand.

That’s not what the agents at Applecare. They say there is no warranty after 30 days the case was bought. But that’s all beside the point. Why can’t Apple stand up and take responsibility for the crappy product they made. They should inform everyone amd have a recall on it. That is what responsible manufacturers do. Not close their eyes and hope the problem wiññ go away,
