iPhone 12 Pro silicone case is turning ring/silent switch off

I have this same problem. It’s when the phone has been in my pocket, the corner of the case comes off the phone as it’s not the tightest of fits and the cutout for the silent switch moves and flicks the switch. Design flaw in my opinion. On the 11 the case wrapped around the edge more being rounded and doesn’t slip off like the 12

Having the same issue with my iPhone 12 leather case. Phone keeps switching to silent many times during the day. The top left corner of the phone keeps popping out causing the silent switch to turn on. Returned one and got a second one that did not solve the issue either. Looks like a design flaw with the product.

I initiated a repair for my Apple Silicone case that was silencing my phone, I was told that I needed to buy a new one ( deposit ) and Apple would send me a new case. I would get my money back after I sent my case back to them. New case arrived with no return shipping label or return packaging / box. I initiated a support case which turned into a fiasco. The specialist repeatedly had to call me back as she stated she needed a special form, and that her system was updating. I went through three scheduled calls with her over the course of the weekend. After three calls she said nothing could be done. I wrote to Apple Feedback however I was not contacted. I'm now going to post my story on this board in a new thread to see if I get anywhere. Its only a $50 case, which I've now paid $100 for, but I'm beyond upset at how this was handled. Never in my 15 year history with Apple have I been treated this way. Frustrating. Btw, the new case does the same thing.

Yes, I have had it happen about 3-5 times a day, very annoying and I miss calls and texts because of it. I have ordered a bullstrap case because there is a flaw with the silicone. I hope it isn’t a flaw with the phone design. The top of my phone is not snug enough and it is always coming out of the case and in turn flips the switch.

Just came back from the Apple store. Absolutely no problem to return (it’s only been 2 weeks since purchase). Bought the same case again and will see how this one works out. Hopefully it was only an issue with the initial batch and this one is from another run.

I’ve used the case for a week now and the sliding off issue is a constant problem. Love the case otherwise but it may go back.

Same here. Blue iphone 12 with apples bue case. Silent switch randomly turns on. I belive mostly when i pull it out of my front pocket. Iphone owner since version 4. First time seeing this issue.

Same. Leather case. Slips off the top left corner activating mute switch. Very annoying considering the cost $$$

I have the same problem 2-3 times per week. I glued the space with Scotch tape but it happened again.
