My iphone 12 is just 2 days old and I am facing really bad battery drain overnight. I had almost 90% left for couple of days before I had gone to sleep and woke up with a remaining battery of around 65%. The battery chart has nothing for these hours. And moreover my mail push is set to manual and I had turned off wifi, bluetooth, location and mobile data. Is there something I can do to stop this?

After a couple days of experimenting.
Let me give you scenarios/examples with no regard to any other settings other than those mentioned being turned on or off.
iPhone 12 Pro running iOS 14.3
SIM card installed, WiFi on, Cellular On, Bluetooth in Standby (Turned off in CC to disable new connections, but still enabled)
Battery drops between 15 and 30% over an eight hour time frame while not being in use. (This was the case for a couple days, until I realized something was clearly wrong)
SIM card installed, WiFi off, Cellular off, Bluetooth standby same as before
Battery drops around 10% over the same time frame (Better, but still not satisfying)
Now get this!
SIM card taken out, Wifi on, Cellular off, Bluetooth same as before, I also turned Airplane Mode on for the sake of it
Draining between 1 and 3% , over the span of 8 hours.
I know, it seems absolutely silly to use an iPhone without a SIM card, but as long as this bug is not fixed taking out the Sim card might be your best option to prevent your battery from draining over night. Or you just simply keep it on a charger. Keeping the SIM and at least turning off WiFi and cellular or putting the device into airplane mode should make the battery drain a little less too.
Some other things you might want to switch off, if only to test for a couple days to see if battery life improves and slows the drain. Keep in mind, you can disable everything temporarily and don't have to worry about anything breaking. If something needs a certain thing enabled, iOS will most likely give you a prompt anyways. You can go back and enable everything again, but until a version of iOS 14.3.x or 14.4 is released that addresses the those kind of issues, it's the best and to be frank, the only thing you can do.
System customization also updates in the background constantly ( if you turn it off, Dark Mode/ Appearance will still be able to work in sunset/sunrise mode, night mode however will work only when you put it on a custom schedule, and optimized battery charging will not work (even the option itself in the battery menu is enabled) if you have Significant Location and/or System Customization disabled).
I don't mention any of those things like turning off Background App refresh, dimming your display etc as those can be found in literary every 'iPhone battery savings' video or article.
It is clear that the issue can be pinpointed to the cellular modem, which can only be put into completely pause if there is no SIM card in the device. Airplane mode alone does not seem to fix the issue fully nor does turning off Cellular data help much if anything.
Well yes. Most of us are having this issue. Can you try turning off wifi for a day and confirm in this thread if it makes any difference?

If I reboot the phone it seems to work for a while, but usually happens again at some point within hours of a reboot too.
As I charge it once in 2-3 days now, I think setting it to 3G helps at least for me.
After 14.4 update, I have seen some improvement. I lost only around 5% overnight. Is there an official confirmation that the issue is fixed? And does anyone else seeing an improvement?
If you charge your device when not in use it can't drain.

To clarify, I meant known to Apple. The clerk acknowledged that this is a mechanical problem they've seen quite a lot.
The solution is simple and used by a half billion other users.
Charge the device when not in use. Day and night. You can not overcharge it.
Your battery is being used at night even if not by you.
You left a 4 out of the iOS version (14.4.1).
Do what a half billion other users do: Charge it while you sleep.

I have a background app refresh off, before the night I usually close all of the apps)
i tried even with the airplane mode on, but that didn’t really improve my idle drain.
But I have very good results despite that fact) now I got 6 hours of screen on time and 40% of a battery)
the only problem is the idle drain and heating. And this is definitely not the problem of my own phone, there are too many topics here with the same problem, and there are at least 2 with too many “me too”) so I’m pretty sure apple knows about the heating and battery drain problem and I think they are going to fix this
Recently bought iPhone 12 and I'm not happy with the battery backup. I have disabled lots of features and in spite of that, backup isn't great. Biggest problem is battery drain overnight being idle and has been noticing that it drains more than 15-16%. I have been using iPhones for the last 10 years now and have never faced an issue like this. I'm not happy with my new iPhone 12 and I need an immediate resolution. I'm on iOS 14.2

Unfortunately, my phone already had WiFi calling enabled, and the connectivity conditions didn’t change between losing and not losing charge.
Unfortunately I don’t think this solution is addressing the root problem.
It’s more like a normal reason for batt drain.
You got lucky with that being your only problem though, and that’s awesome!
I have the same issue, I’m using the apple original 20W charger. Night I had charged my phone and it was around 94% and I turned off mobile data, WiFi and Bluetooth and I had turned on low power mode still when I woke up in the morning my battery percentage is 68% this is really bad. In the battery Heath chart it shows nothing still battery is draining.
I’m facing the same exact issue, I have used 5s , 6 , 7 plus and XS this is the first time I’m seeing some issue like this and it’s too bad phone is 2 days old and battery drain during night is crazy. Minimum 25% battery drain in the night. Even if you turn on aeroplane mode also 20% drain is for sure overnight. I hope apple is hearing our problem
