Health App keeps lowering volume of BT speaker and earbuds to 50%

Since the latest update, my iPhone keeps on lowering volume when listening to musing both with bluetooth earbuds and speakers. I get a notification telling me I've exceeded the limit and that volume has been reduced. The health app tells me that this cannot be disabled. Is this really a "feature" that cannot be turned off? I'm frustrated beyond belief.

I just did the steps and it worked, got them from Apple , turned off in Settings, you can prevent changes to the maximum headphone volume. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Reduce Loud Sounds, then select Don’t Allow.

Make sure screen time is active and then follow the steps

Extremely Frustrating....I use a Vehicle radio with Bluetooth. Constantantly turns down the volume. Used to be fine and so enjoyed listening to iPhone apps/radio/music/podcasts. Now I need to have the radio volume turned up just to hear normal loudness, then after a bit it quiets down. Have to take out my phone and push up the volume again....with is still not as loud as it used to be. Not all change is good change. Might be time to move on to Android and Amazon music. Sucks 100 per cent.

this is absolutely infuriating. i only noticed it since my car just died and i had to buy another one. it has a great stock stereo, but as it was built in 2005, it does not have bluetooth. i bought a bluetooth receiver module to plug into the input jack, and now this absolutely idiotic 'feature' keeps dropping my volume, telling me it is for my own good.

what 'regulation' in the US or in the state of WA makes this necessary, in the eyes of apple? there appears to be no such thing.

and when i discovered that my phone was cutting the volume in half, supposedly for my own good, the very first thing i though of was the hearing impaired. there are people -- LOTS of people -- who absolutely NEED full volume over headphones, in order to communicate. how on earth do garbage decisions like this go through without anyone challenging them?!?
