Please, add a standard calculator in widgets in Mac OS Big Sur

With a macro app like Keyboard Maestro you can set key combinations to open apps, If you have your keyboard setup so the F keys are not active, i.e. you need to use the Fn key with the F key to get the desired feature to work, you can setup an F key to open the Calculator app.


Go to the App Store and search for "keyboard shortcuts" for a list of potential candidates. It'll be much quicker than going to the widgets.

Completely agree, Apple has gone on a streak of removing functionalities that were nothing but convenient in the name of .. I'm honestly not even sure.


If I can customize the control menu on my iPhone to have access to calculator, for example, why wouldn't I be able to on Mac? Why update it if you're not going meet the standards you've set yourself!? So annoying.
