Anybody else having slow or inconsistent WiFi speeds on iPhone 12 Pro Max? I know it’s not my WiFi because all my other devices work as usual including my iPhone X which is still have/upgraded from.

I am/was experiencing the same issue with my iphone 12. When you select your preferred network in wifi settings. Turn off Private address. This helped solve the issue.

None of these troubleshooting work. I and I am sure others tried all this before we posted here but thanks though ;)
Mine is an iPhone 12 mini with a non mesh network. I agree I hope a software issue can resolve this issue.

I have the USA version of 12 Pro Max, I wonder if it has something to do with the extra antenna ...
That is bad luck. Older iPhones don’t have the issue. This is definitely a iOS 14 bug specifically for all of the iPhone 12 variants.
That shouldn’t be an issue since they are all cellular bands isolated from wifi. You never know so it could be possible.
I even did a test with a spare Linksys router I have and same results, it’s definitely the phone.... I’m hoping the test I did with Apple Support lead towards a fix.

Haha the funny thing with that is after a decade of iPhones I never cared about the camera upgrades!
The most consistent connection speeds I get on the iPhone 12 Pro Max is when I connect through a WiFi extender I have at 5Ghz.
My iPhone 12 pro max has the slow WiFi speed compared with my iPhone 11, obviously there is a problem, Apple pls help to fix it

I would suggest seeing if Apple can exchange yours with another one. Yours sounds like a faulty hardware issue versus the speed issues we are having are more likely software issues.
