Anybody else having slow or inconsistent WiFi speeds on iPhone 12 Pro Max? I know it’s not my WiFi because all my other devices work as usual including my iPhone X which is still have/upgraded from.

I finally solved the ridiculously slow wifi speed (just got my iphone 12 pro max today).
Turns out my VPN was kicking in while trying to configure/test everything else out.
Bottomline: I had to use cellular data to download the VPN (because it was only partially downloaded), then once it was downloaded, i disabled it. Then.... voila... wifi speed was back to "crazy fast"
Just a thought.... look at your VPN (to if you can disable it)

I am not sure if it’s fixable unless they recall our modems and maybe swap it out with another one?
I have slow or inconsistent WiFi speeds on iPhone mini 12. I know it’s not my wifi because all other device wor as usual including my iPhone 7
I’ve been saying this for weeks. Apple won’t let it remain Unfixed. Reputation is everything and Apple can’t let this glaring issue impact theirs .

Right but aren’t they isolated within the chip and run on difference frequencies so they do not conflict with each other?
I got the same slower speed when connecting to a 5ghz connection inside my home. I have a iPhone 12 Pro Max. Same slow speed when disabling Bluetooth on my phone as well.
Thanks for this information! Yeah I have no idea if Bluetooth is the cause of this issue but it does affect wifi and I was shocked!
I too am getting much less download speeds on my new Iphone 12, I have 350 MBPS in home and the iPhone won't break the 100 barrier, I would appreciate any advice...

I’ve been having the same issue and when I turn the WiFi off on my phone the WiFi starts working good again. While I guess my issue is different
My wifi speeds on my iphone 12 pro max are terrible with my new wifi 6 cable modem. I have to turn wifi off at home if I want good internet service on my phone.
Unfortunately turning that from off to auto on my iPhone 12 mini does not resolve the issue.
Well, I guess Some of us are not aware of that since Proxy Configuration is turned off as the default setting...
That is complete nonsense and will also leave your device open to security vulnerabilities.
