Anybody else having slow or inconsistent WiFi speeds on iPhone 12 Pro Max? I know it’s not my WiFi because all my other devices work as usual including my iPhone X which is still have/upgraded from.

I finally solved the ridiculously slow wifi speed (just got my iphone 12 pro max today).
Turns out my VPN was kicking in while trying to configure/test everything else out.
Bottomline: I had to use cellular data to download the VPN (because it was only partially downloaded), then once it was downloaded, i disabled it. Then.... voila... wifi speed was back to "crazy fast"
Just a thought.... look at your VPN (to if you can disable it)

Nonsense? Vulnerabilities? Nothing happened to my last iPhone without updates! Apple wants you to think that... apple wants you to make your device absolute slowly till you want to upgrade...
The security holes were there, they were fixed by the updates.
You can leave your phone vulnerable if you like, most prefer their devices and data to be more secure.
My phone came with iOS 14.3 and it’s staying that way, and yes, vulnerabilities were addressed with 14.3!
Lawrence, my new iPhone 12 came with iOS 14.3 so why would I be at risk? It’s the latest? You must work for Apple...

I have all of the devices you mention and have had zero WiFI issues since iOS 14.1.
That didn’t work for me. I deleted it completely off my phone, restarted it, and tested. No difference.
Followed your post but regardless of LTE or 5G: Only seeing 4mbps downloads.

I just upgraded my iPhone and the Wi-Fi is awfully slow.
on the other devices the Wi-Fi is fine (Mac, iPad, other phone, and laptop).
