WiFi Speeds (iPhone 12 Pro Max)

I wish this worked for me but it doesn’t do anything.

I installed IOS 14.3 yesterday. No change to the issue of slower speeds over wifi with my 12 Pro and 8th Gen. iPad.

It's not mentioned in their list of fixes so, not surprising.

I was on Wi-Fi and 5G/lte. Verizon’s digital secure VPN was the culprit. Soon as I disabled it, internet speeds instantly improved

I’m getting very slow upload speeds in 4g on my iPhone 12 Pro Max compared to my iPhone 11 Pro Max. The 11 is 4 to 5 times faster.

I really hope 14.4 fixes this issue, it’s very frustrating

That option has been in iOS 14 since it first was released.

iPhone 8 - 395Mbs

iPhone 12 - 161Mbs

Upgrade to 14.3 and go to your wife. Remove private address and it will work. Apple recently added this option for an additional private WiFi address but not necessary if your on your home WiFi.

Removal of the Private Address didn't work for me with IOS 14.2 or now, 14.3.

I had already done those things previously as well.

I believe it is the chipset or ios software needing a compatibility update. Qualcomm modems are designed strictly for Android phones. They need to work with Qualcomm on a quality issue fix.
