Anybody else having slow or inconsistent WiFi speeds on iPhone 12 Pro Max? I know it’s not my WiFi because all my other devices work as usual including my iPhone X which is still have/upgraded from.

I finally solved the ridiculously slow wifi speed (just got my iphone 12 pro max today).
Turns out my VPN was kicking in while trying to configure/test everything else out.
Bottomline: I had to use cellular data to download the VPN (because it was only partially downloaded), then once it was downloaded, i disabled it. Then.... voila... wifi speed was back to "crazy fast"
Just a thought.... look at your VPN (to if you can disable it)

If you have time you should investigate to see what on your network is broken that causes this.
Which router did you newly purchase?
+1 with the 12 pro max. Its my first iphone and dissapointed with wifi speed. I get 25mbit while other devices get 500.

What does that prove to me? I too can perform a speed test showing max speed in this iPhone, but that glory will end fast as speed is toggled by device.

I tried all that, no change. It really sucks. My XS is twice as fast as this new phone
How do we get a replacement under warranty?

Must be only if you buy direct from Apple. We bought from Verizon and are outside our window to return with them. Not sure a replacement does any good though. Sounds like an issue with the 12
Apple doesn't monitor this forum/thread.
i am having the exact same experience as yours, including unable to connect to Apple ID Sever during setting up the phone.

Firmware issues are often a source of WiFi difficulties.
