Magic mouse 2 lag after upgrading to macOS X Big Sur.

I did everything also, and magic mouse still in troubles!

As mentioned, i´m happy with the computer, but I already bought an additional logitec mouse and keyboard combo.

and I like a lot the center wheel which is made of metal, and you can scroll hundreds of lines in seconds and stop it right where you wish (this is not possible to do w magic mouse)

Certainly sounds as if it's something else in your setup, given that two different MacBooks had the same problem. Radio interference is the likely culprit. Quick test: turn off the Mac's Wi-Fi, see what happens. Then turn off the router, and see what happens.

By default that library is invisible. Go to your Home folder, then to the View ➙ Show View Options and check this checkbox:

It will then be visible in your Home folder.

I tried several other solutions to this problem (Magic Mouse 2, with Big Sure upgrade) and deleting the preferences suggestion above worked. Thanks.

Same here. I cant find the preferences files that some other refer to. Super annoying.

The mouse may be put in a little rough surface. Put a mouse pad or something smooth.

Big Sur is no longer be called Mac OS X

I, too have tried all of the above, and have called Apple support twice. Did you ever find a fix?

It could be Wi-Fi interference. If your router has a "5G" option, try turning it off; alternatively, try using 5G exclusively.
