I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and it constantly dims. I made sure the Automatic button was off, it still dims. I went to answer the phone and it had dimmed itself down to an almost completely dark screen. I am constantly having to reset the brightness back to where I can see the screen. Any "bright" ideas?

Hey guys , I had the same problem. My auto brightness was off and my phone kept dimming. Then I discovered that I had “reduce white point” on , once I cut it off my phone went back to normal. Go to accessibility-display and text and it’ll be right above auto brightness

Do you play any heavy graphic games? Because I play 1 game, Mobile Legends, and it always dims even with both dimming features off.
Increase contrast does not work just take iPhone into direct sunlight and see…
It is the auto-lock feature too.
I changed mine to 5 minutes and solved it.
I just bought a iPhone 14 Pro Max 512 GB and traded the 12 Pro Max away!
