“Allow apps permission to track” won’t let me toggle it on.

Hi there, so I’m trying to turn on the “allow apps permission to track” feature but the button is greyed out and off by default. Is there any way I can turn it on / find out why it’s greyed out?

So I turned it on expecting to have apps start asking me for permission to track me. Nothing happened even with Facebook who have created such a stink over it. I went as far as signing out of FB, deleting the apps from both my iPad and iPhone , reinstalling them and signing in again. Still it didn’t prompt me to give it permission to track me. Toggle Allow Apps to Request to Track OFF If I toggle Allow Apps to Request to Track OFF it will not allow any app to ask permission and block them from tracking, Correct? Like in the screenshot?

Tracking on settings I go to my settings to turn on my tracking request for apps and the toggle button in grey and not letting me switch it and it is saying that a profile is restricting it what do I do?!?!?!?!?

Make sure the Advertising switch is set to Allow, then restart your phone ➡️ Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Go to Settings/General and scroll to the bottom. Just below VPN do you see Profiles or Device Management? If so and you tap on it what appears?
