OMG - I'm so relieved that I stumbled upon this thread and confirmed my suspicions....
It took me a week, to test EVERYTHING I could think of, with multiple routers and Wi-Fi standards, countless hours spent on forums, just to end up with the same conclusion I came up on day 1 - it's on Apple's Side - not the internet provider, not the router - just Apple messing up Wi-Fi and Bluetooth frequencies....
THANK YOU EVERYBODY, for jumping in and providing your feedback and the workarounds - you're AMAZING! I can finally relax and sleep like a normal person)
Now, it's time for APPLE to take action and finally fix this - we don't need you to confirm our workarounds, we need a SOLID FIX that ensures STABLE and MAX connection with our devices.
If my iPhone 12 Pro and ASUS RT-AX55 support Wi-Fi 6 - then I should be getting the 700-800mpbs that I'm paying for. My ISP provides 800mpbs, confirmed by Ethernet on both - Mac and Windows - so I should be getting at least 700mbps on my iPhone 12 Pro(Wi-Fi 6), iPad 7th Gen(Wi-Fi 5) and MacBook Air 13 Retina 2018 (Wi-Fi 5). Currently, I cannot get over 450mbps on iPad and MacBook Air, iPhone 12 Pro goes up to 550mbps, if you switch to AX Settings only. The settings are CORRECT, so please don't bother asking for them - all according to your recommendations. However, if you really NEED them, then PLEASE do ask for specific ones, instead of generic troubleshooting steps - like the distance of your router, restart your mac, etc...
So now, the only question remains, when are you going to acknowledge this BUG and provide a FIX for it?
