Can't sign into Snapchat on iPhone

It’s possible, but that problem caused the app to crash on launch. If the app launches but says the user is banned that’s a different issue. And it was fixed with an update 2 days later. The current version is 11.35.0.34, which was released on July 6. The version that fixed the crashing problem was 11.34.1.35, and the version that crashed was 11.34.0.35.

I know they fixed it. It just seems kind of odd that we're seeing reports from several people of being banned all of the sudden?

Still, the people who have been banned, needs to take the issue up with Snapchat directly. Nothing anyone here or at Apple can do about being banned.

well i’ve been trying for 2 weeks now, maybe 3. there is no way to talk to an actual person, just a bot. and they don’t help anything. i’ve tried emailing, tried googling a number. there is nothing smh. that’s why i came here.

Unfortunately, there's nothing anyone here on this user to user only forum can do to help you. We, nor Apple have anything to do with Snapchat. I once had an account, but deleted it long ago. If I wanted to buy a used phone, I'd buy yours as Snapchat means nothing to me.

My snapchat is doing the same thing🤦🏽‍♀️, i was able to unlock my account and login on a different phone but once i tried logging into my snap on my personal phone it locked my account AGAIN. I even tried deleting my snapchat app for abt 3 days and when I downloaded it again it did the same thing. Ive already contacted snapchat services so many times.

Having the exact same problem we’re every account I make get temporarily banned and not to mention the fact that the account I had in the first place was banned for no reason and no explanation giving, I try to contact Snapchat but their customer service is awful

No, it isn’t your iPhone; It is Snapchat that is not letting you log in to Snapchat. The fact that it’s from an iPhone is irrelevant. Be sure you have the latest version of Snapchat; there have been a couple of buggy releases of Snapchat recently. The latest version is 11.36.0.36, updated on July 11, 2021 (yesterday). The reason for the update is “bug fixes”.

no it’s literally the specific iphone. i bought a new phone and it works, it worked on my old phone too. but not the phone i was most recently using. i updated the snapchat for the bug fixes, it didn’t fix anything lol. i’m the 3rd person on here that found no answer and had to buy a new phone.

i mean it may be snapchat BUT once it does that on your phone, the phone won’t ever let you back on, not even with a different sim card, apple ID and phone number. or after being factory reset. idk it was weird tho.

Are you sure Snapchat didn’t ban you for some reason? If you are sure that you haven’t been banned, delete the app, restart your phone, and add it back.

When Snapchat bans someone they base it on the UDID (the phone’s unique identifier), so you can’t use that phone again even if your create a new Snapchat login.

no, i tried a new sim. i literally had to go get a whole new phone. i got a new sim for it, changed my number and made a new apple ID just in case.

i tried my old sim(the original one from the phone my snap was messed up on) in someone else’s phone and now it won’t let her on snap either, so don’t go buy a new phone and then ruin it with that, get all new everything just to not risk it.

I’m having the exact same issue, since Snapchat glitched about 2 weeks ago since then my account has been “temporarily locked” but when I go on safari to unlock it it says permanently locked.. I’ve tryed to make a new account and that also gets locked straight away, but every day it will let me log into my “locked” account for about 4 minutes before it logs me out and says it’s temporarily locked again😩

Mines did the same thing i guess snapchat banned our phones from making a new account and logging on so snapchat must have data or an IP address linked to our phones that’s not allowing us to use the app probably would have to get another phone for your snap to work cause that’s what i had to do it sucks! :(

i made a new iCloud account & got a new number just incase but it isn’t the iCloud account that’s making snapchat not work it’s either the IP address on your phone or the imei cause i tried making a new iCloud & erasing everything on my old phone and it still didn’t work.

If you had taken the trouble to read the thread you posted to you would have learned that Snapchat banned you. It has nothing to do with Apple.

same thing here except i can get into my snapchat every day but only for 5 mins or less then it logs me out and locks me out for the rest of the day, i’ve tried contextual snap on twitter, i’ve went to snapchat support PLENTY of times and nothings working. And i can’t create a new account because either my connections not working (which only happens to that app it works everywhere else) or when i’m trying to make my bitmoji it locks me out. idk if i need a new phone or if snap just doesn’t want me to use their app 😐
