I had an Apple watch 3 and was using it to unlock my iphone 12 with a mask on. I upgraded to a 6 and it will no longer work to unlock my phone with my watch. The settings are correct on phone and watch. I removed the 3 from the watch app, I restarted the 6, I unpaired and repaired.. still nothing.
Thank you so much! It was one setting I forgot to do after I got the new watch. It was in the Face ID & Passcode section.
