Series 3 watch cannot load OS 7 update

Has anybody else experienced the infinite loop/Groundhog day of trying to load an update to OS 7 on a Series 3 watch? It has rendered my watch completely useless!

The steps are:

Both IPhone and Watch on chargers. I tried to load the update, but it fails. One of the solutions was to unpair and re-pair it as a new watch.

Now, the update fails, but I can’t get out of the update. As soon as it fails to load, it tells me there’s an update and if I try to cancel out, it impairs from my phone! I have done this at least 7 times in the past day. Please help!!!
