Wi-Fi problem after iOS 14.7.1 update

You don’t connect to both networks simultaneously, the same SSID allows the device to move between 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz as it sees a need to.

I am on such a network regularly and get this:

Same as you, WiFi can not connect easily .

Swiftly shown connected and disconnected.

even though China very cheap phone can connect with fully strength WiFi and internet.

Me too! I cannot even connect now. My battery only lasts half a day too. This stinks!!

Internet is not the problem. It has something to do with the update.

The fact that iOS works properly on virtually all other access points makes that clear.

Clear you don’t have this issue as many have been posting the exact same problem with update.

I think they'll kick this back to my contacting the VPN developer, but thanks anyway. If it's a security / data collection issue, this could be an endless loop.

Same issue after update to version 14.7.1. On a other iPhone the version 14.7 works fine.

That’s not a valid troubleshooting methodology, especially as the iPhone 6 uses the older 802.11ac protocol where the iPhone 12 uses the 802.11ax protocol, aka “WiFi 6.”

Having same issue. After update wifi gets disconnected automatically and then reconnects. Really annoying.

Yes we are facing the same internet connectivity issue. Btw when will be the next update coming ?if anybody knows.
