Video not available roku Apple TV channel

Same problem here. Old Roku 3 started exhibiting this problem. Reset everything to no avail. Just purchased a Roku Express HD hoping the newer unit would work. No joy - same problem. Some shows play, others don’t.

Would consider an Apple TV but it is a too expensive solution. Now considering unsubscribing since the content is quickly become of no value.

Doesn’t bode well that Apple can’t provide an answer (still no idea what the problem is), but with no solution in sight, it’s just not worth it.

Apple - do you think you might want to consider a reply? A "sorry to see you go"; or "we're sorry you're having these difficulties, we're working to fix them"; or even an honest, "We're Apple, and we don't need any of you."

Frankly, any of these answer would be better than the deafening silence.

Same. Watched a lot of shows. Ted Lasso, Foundation, etc, but Ted Lasso Season 2 will not play, nor will Invasion Episode 8 onward, and Foundation episode 2 onward.

When trying to play them the Video Unavailable message pops up. I can still watch shows on Apple TV though, just those won’t play(so far).

I am subscribed and I am signed in on the Apple TV app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my Roku and continue to get the same message.

I use roku on older sony tv. Apple tv worked a week ago, not now.

Keep getting 'can't run channel' window and check network button. can't figure it out.

We’ve had the same issue through our Apple TV app on our TV. We don’t use Roku. We are getting ‘video unavailable’ messages and logging out and in again has no effect.

I just canceled my subscriptions to Apple Music and tv. Too frustrating to deal with video not available and request timed out on the music.

I tried that and it didn’t work

I unsubscribed. I suspect Apple wants to force us to purchase their TV and I'm tired of spending money on technology. I'll stick with British Baking Show on Netflix. Goodbye for now Apple.
