Hi, i've been experiencing lags every time i swpe up to close an app to go to the home screen. The phone freezes for a second (as it shows in the video) or it skips some frames looking really choppy. I have around 95gb of free storage and the battery health is 94% so my phone is not the problem, i already forced the restart and even restored it to factory settings, didn't helped. any recomendations?

Finally, after the update to iOS 15.3, my iPhone XR stopped lagging and seems fluid... it was lagging since the update to iOS 15 in october... hope it works for you guys!
i don't think it is related to storage but i hope it will be fixed in ios 15.4
did anyone find a solution for this.. it just seems to get worse every update.
there is no solution till now we must wait the updates and see if they fix it we don't have nothing to do

Was reading a lot of chatter about this over on Reddit. Someone suggested turning off iCloud backups fixed all the lag with iOS 15 on the XR. I tried it and holy crap so far it’s day and night better. It’s only been an hour or so but everything I try is back to how it was performance wise before updating to iOS 15. Leave it to Apple to have one of their own services break their crap.
The UI feels much smoother when it is in Dark Mode, anyone else felt that ?
when i swipe up to go to home screen there is frame drop and sometimes it goes to app switcher instead of returning back to home screen
I don't want to install iOS 15 because I'm afraid it will ruin the performance of my devices. Please fix this Apple.
