Monterey screensaver not working
How do I get Monterey screensaver to show the mat-geo photos.

Yes, I know the steps and followed
no matter what “source” I select I only get a black or white screen
i used the nat-geo pics in the past, but I can’t even get colors to work
dynamic backgrounds are selected for screens
but changing to static does not change snything
i also have screen sleep set to never, but no matter the value, no change

I have a M1 mini and M1 MBA with Monterey and I can access my photo albums when using screensaver (except scrapbook). I wonder if there is some file conflict for people that are having this issue.
Is Apple ever going to fix this? This might be the last straw. I'm going shopping for a Windows based machine.
You'd really change and downgrade hardware over a screensaver?
I am disgusted with the OS 12.0.1Screensaver which will NOT show jpegs or jpgs, no matter what I do with my Intel iMac. Please fix this very inconsiderate mistake NOW.

Probably not but there’s other things that drive me crazy. Only been a Mac user for about 6 years. I do realize Windows isn’t what it used to be. It’s just aggravating sometimes.
What I'd like to know is why only on imac's???? Seems to be ok on macbook's so I read.
Hope this going to be fixed so we can enjoy all our photos as a screensaver.

Not just iMac. An issue on a 2016 MacBook Pro as well.
Have no issue on my Mini or MBA M1 with Monterey except the scrapbook pane. All others work fine.
As I recall the M1 Macs has less issues than the Intel Macs.
We don't know when the fix will be release but it will be with a system update.
Tried it…still no go but thanks for trying :)
I use a similar process but pick Photo library (from Photos app) and it works. Not sure why so many users have an issue.
