Issues after update to ios15

Iphone se

  1. battery drains super fast; sometime battery level reduces by 5% in 10 mins
  2. Power off randomly (although battery lvl at 100%)
  3. phone is heating up while opening apps/ using it
  4. cant be used as wifi hotspot; my laptop can’t connect to my iPhone’s hotspot. The blue line on top of iphone showing connected to other device is keep blinking as if it’s trying hard to connect

please help

Do your part: Let Apple know what is going on here. Provide them with feedback on this. They may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they received on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Comment: on when you came across this issue, and how you have trorubleshsot it, thus far.
  3. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  4. Proceed from there aw necessary

Troubleshooting iPhone Overheating:

Try Clearing Up Space:

If lots of space it taken up, and little free space resides, then it would most certainly overheat due to excessive processor usage. So, clean whatever space you can.

A. Sign in to iCloud:

Are you signed in to iCloud on it? If not, please do so. Elsewise, they cannot be downloaded.


B. Update your Computer:

C. Clear "Other":

Clear the storages named "Other". It basically contains unnecessary files such as caches that are used for system ease of use - all of which gather over time: How to Clear "Other" in your iPhone's Storage - Use Backup - User Tip

Troubleshooting iPhone WiFi:

Four Thoughts:

A. Clear Temporary Internet Files:

If connecting is unsuccessful, try clearing out your Temporary Internet FilesHistoryCache, and Cookies

Go Here: Clear your Safari browser history and set up content blockers on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


B. Try manually restarting your iPhone:

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Select: General
  3. Scroll to: the Very Bottom
  4. Select: Shut Down
  5. Slide Finger: to the Right
  6. Wait: 30 Seconds
  7. Power One: the iPhone
  8. Try this Once More


C. Is Cellular Data ALWAYS Enabled?:

Cellular Data always overrules Wi-Fi. So, if applicable, disable Cellular Data, if enabled, and see if you get Wi-Fi to work.


D. Troubleshooting Connectivity:
