Over the last day or so snapshots (previews) of my cameras in HomeKit stopped updating on my iPhone 12 Pro. The text always says the snapshot is from “now” but the picture is more than a day old. The cameras still stream fine and snapshots appear normally on my iPad, Mac and iPhone 12 mini. Nothing changed in my HomeKit setup and rebooting hubs/cameras/my iPhone don’t solve this issue.

So I rebooted my iPhone this morning and snapshots were back to normal… seems like something may have gotten fixed on Apple’s side. Can anyone else confirm a device reboot fixes camera snapshots for them?
I updated the 15.3 but I also did the nuclear option and reset the cameras out of home and back into home, so I’m not sure which of the two fixed the issue, but the combination of both did resolve the issue.

Following this post - I’ve been having the same issue and rebooting my iPhone as of today hasn’t resolved it, it seems. +1 to getting Apple’s attention to fix.
I’m having the same issue, my snapshots are the same from yesterday. This is only happening on my iPhone. On my ipad and my wife’s iphone the snapshots are refreshing.

Hi, I have the same issue on my iPhone (iOS 15.1) and on my Mac mini (MacOS Catalina 12.1) but not on my iPad (iPadOS 15.1)
Signing out of icloud, and signing back in resolved this issue for me. Thanks!

I also signed out and back in, still working, it’s been an hour and a half at this point.
Apparently the sign out/sign in trick only works until the effective device is rebooted. Have you tried rebooting your iPhone and then see if the issue returns?
happening with iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 Pro people too.
My iPad, macOS on two devices, watchOS and wife's iPhone 13 pro max who is a resident of the home not seeing the issue yet.
I'm having the same issue for a few days now (since Sunday I think). It manifests on two iPhones (12 Pro on 15.2 and 10s on 15.1). However, it works fine on MacBook Pro M1 on MacOS 12.1.
Does home+ show refreshing snapshots or live views?
