I’m so glad I found this thread, I thought it was just me. !! I bought my iPhone 13 pro in April and I despise it. I usually text, there’s just one person that I call occasionally so it took awhile for me to realize what was happening. My phone would cut out when I was talking to her, but we thought it might be location (even though I’m in a populated area with lots of bars) so I’ve been driving around and parking places to call her! So it would work, which made me think it was the location, and then it was garbled again. One time I thought I had made it work by switching from speaker to my ear, and then it started cutting out again! Part of my delay in realizing the issue is that she has an older phone, so I didn’t know whether it was HER phone that might be the problem. I finally called a couple of other people today, and it started cutting out again! So I went to an authorized Apple place (not the Genius Bar) and the guy had never heard of this issue and his only suggestion was to reset the whole phone from scratch, that maybe this was a glitch when it was set up. Obviously, reading all of these it’s not. Oh, and I have an Otterbox, that has a cutout for the lenses so nothing is being covered.
I’m just wondering if this is a bad lot, I can’t imagine more people not ******** about it if it was all iPhone 13 pro’s. For those of you near a Genius Bar, I’m assuming they try making calls with it? How can they deny the issue?
I’m furious, I can’t believe they’re not doing anything about this. I would just try to sell the **** thing at a loss, but it doesn’t seem ethical.
After reading this thread, I’m just going back to my old iPhone 8, I can’t deal with the stress of this nonsense.
i bought the **** warranty on it through T-mobile, but I’m assuming since they don’t even admit this is a problem, they’re not going to do anything about it so I’ll be canceling that.
