Mail App keeps freezing

I’m running iOS 15.3.1 and been experiencing persistent freezing of Mail App. I tried force closing the app multiples times, Power cycled the iPhone, turn on/off cellular and Wi-Fi connection sometimes it goes back up but then it froze again. When it froze, you will only see “< Back” at the top left and the rest of the page is blank. Anyone see this issue recently? I don’t see any new iOS update yet but I hope this will be fixed by Apple. I hate to go straight to GMail app to access my email as I have multiple emails that I access thru the Mail app.

I told folks what worked for me but no one wanted to do it. The last 2 updates did nothing for the email problem.

i went to the Apple store. She looked at the corrupt files and said we need to do a reset. So that’s what the Apple store did. Did a factory reset WITHOUT iCloud backup. It worked and I have not had the problem since. She also showed me a way to re-download all apps I had which actually showed all the apps I ever downloaded

I have been having the same issue for weeks and it seems to be getting worse. It is frustrating that there is not solution that does involve rebooting the iPhone as if was brand new to fix one app.

With all the people having this same frustrating issue and given Apple monitors this site they certainly should have had a fix for this problem by now.

Problem has been going on for me for months, and is getting consistently worse. When traveling for work it is incredibly difficult and makes it hard for o be efficient and responsive to customers.

I did it only unfroze email for 1 day ! I’ve never had this problem before I’ve had 4 different I phones since 2013

I am having this problem as well. I’ve done online tech support snd also went to the store. I tried all the recommendations. Has anyone hadanyother ideas that worked?

I’ve also started to have exactly this problem. And 15.6 update doesn’t fix it. I’m running 15.6.1 and problem has only just started.

Any other fixes out there other than factory reset?
