iPad with 15.3.1 iOS update load e-mails very slowly

I deleted the email application and reinstalled. I was successful. Now the emails show up without waiting time.

Update:

I set up a third party email program (outlook) and added my .Mac email and guess what, it works with on issues.

Sad that a Microsoft product works on an Apple platform yet their own product does not.

What a way to run your company and poop on your customers.

Okay, deleted the app again; rebooted, reloaded it and it worked this time. Hope it lasts. Settings seem to be preserved but you may want to screenshot things before deleting!

Sure has to be something that gets hosed in one of the upgrades for so many of us to have had this!

BTW, the Gmail app also has a lot of other options, check it out to see if it can handle your cases! It is not at all just gmail!

As I noted above, reinstalling the Apple Mail app fixed the issue (and still is working). I installed Gmail a month ago, it made no change at all. It still looks like some port was blocked and it has to timeout every time on the primary one. But who knows. It's working normally. And this is on my current iPhone. Nothing to do with 'old hardware' or 'old software'.

I deleted the mail app, turned my iPad off and on, reloaded the mail app, added back 6 of my 7 email accounts, the last one ICloud I cannot get to show! So far my main hotmail account which was the one which was not loading seems ok. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

just need to get iCloud mail showing on the mail app, any suggestions?

I am unsure if this will help but I know on my iPhone SE I also at times have slow download of email when I open it. I believe mine is due to low memory availability. I usually clear my cache (Settings/Safari/ Scroll down to ‘clear history and website data’, then I double click home button quickly which brings up all open pages and I swipe them up to close them, then restart and then try opening the email again.

I had similar issues and my mail completely stopped loading today. I had to delete the mail app. Then re-download the app and deleted and added all accounts.

I had to wipe the entire iPad to factory settings. Then I restored from an iCloud backup. Took some time, but so far so good.

I had to delete all the emails that had no sender and no subject. Then I deleted the app and reinstalled.

now my IPad is loading again.

IOS 15.6 has fixed the issue

update your IPad and the issue will be resolved

After updating to 15.6 all emails are working again
