I had this same problem. I just talked to an Apple Support agent and then their senior advisor and they pretty much just said that you need to download a few at a time in order for it to work and there's no way to fix it. On my computer, I wasn't able to download more than 30 at a time which seems ridiculous, especially since they list a limit of 1,000 photos being downloaded at once on iCloud. I have over 9k photos to download so it will take forever to get those downloaded. Perhaps the limit is intended to make it more difficult to keep your photos outside of iCloud.
Same thing here.
This used to work; it is completely unacceptable. I am paying for iCloud and I need to be able to download my pictures.
Please let me know if anyone makes progress with that issue.
Can you please get a detailed explanation of how you get to the photos? I tried what you explained but failed
I got it ... what's next
I went to the iCloud Photos, right click, copy, then paste to destination media. It will take several hours depending on the size of the folder.
Just to update. The download started well then when it got to about the 30% mark it slowed down drastically. I've had it with Apple. Bought a Samsung. Bye!
Thanks for your response. So, my workaround was to do exactly what you mentioned. I was downloaded photos in batches of 25-30, but that even stopped working.😡 Ugh!😩 This is so frustrating!🤬😡
I am having the same issue. I am only trying to download one (1) single document. I get all most of my bills online for my company. Very frustrating. Help!
Likewise. Beyond frustrated. Any solutions!!???
Very frustrating !! same issue max 10 pics. I want to download 1.000 pics!
same here. Started April 9 for me. I could download as usual. Did one batch. All of sudden wouldn't download any. today I can download one at a time. Can't even do 4.
I agree. I am facing the same challenge.
Same here, started with 900 earlier today ending with downloading 1 at the time at this moment. Still 8000 to go.
Apple, we need a sollution.
Agree this is ridiculous. Why don’t you be on the up and up about us being able to get to our pictures. What is the status of the class action suit ?
Same for me as everyone in this thread. Been downloading for several hours with no issues and now this all of a sudden! It is ridiculous that they have no answer or fix for this.
I also hope it gets fixed soon!
Same here. Unacceptable. If I can't get a solution, then there is no message for me to have icoud.
