After upgrading to 12.4, my 2021 16-inch MacBook Pro w/M1 Pro CPU now doesn't charge from any USB-C ports. My usual USB-C charger stopped working and the MBP doesn't make a beep or indicate any reaction to the charger. I've tried another charger and cable that I know work. It will charge from the 140w supplied charger but not from USB-C?

I have the same issue too. I have MBP 16 Pro Max. Which chip do you guys have? Pro or Max?
For my instance, normally it'll happen after I folded down the screen (without powering down), and re-open the screen. Both sides of USB-C ports will stop functioning. From what I read, there is no manual SMC or PRAM reset on these M1 machines. So I shutdown, power off the laptop completely. Close the screen and wait for at least 1 minute. Re-open the screen and ports are back to normal. But it happens daily so it's very annoying.
I forgot if you mentioned it but does the computer charge with the MagSafe charger?
I'm sure Apple knows about it as I think I was one of the first to log a report with Apple on the USB-C charging issue several months ago. This is not a widespread problem and may be difficult for Apple to tie it down. I know in my case, switching to the MagSafe charger allowed me to charge my MBP and then the problem went away. I didn't do anything that I'm aware of to fix it and it's been working fine ever since as I never use my MagSafe charger.
I have the same problem. Reboot from macbook bring only 1-2 days soltion. Use from mac safe is not a option why i use usb c with station and dell 49 widescreen incl. usb hub. I the Problem offical by apple knowing?

Restarting didn't work for me. My charging cable seems to work for my other MPB but not my 2020 MBP with Intel Core.
I don't have a MagSafe port but for those who does, hopefully this works!
I've only had my MBP about six weeks now, so the battery count quite low and showing a count of 5 in 6 weeks.

I am doing both. But thus far my "working with Apple" consisted of their support telling me to reset the SMC. M1 Macs don't have an SMC.
Charges fine with MagSafe. However, I've had the "non-functional USB-C ports" in terms of accessory recognition & charging while using the MagSafe charger as well.
Not sure what you're suggesting here - updating installed apps? I don't have any pending installs of anything.
Restarting helps only for a very short time. Then the issue occurs again.
Should be solved soon, the deep decharging will also reduce battery life.
