Kept receiving "A password reset request was sent from a device at the location shown below'

My iPhone 13 got stolen, and as expected, the thieves are phishing for my Apple ID credentials. I have safeguarded my account (changed password, activated 2FA) and do not click links from weird SMS messages. But now, I am receiving reset password notifications in my MacBook Pro:

I clicked it but I am not proceeding to reset my password because I think that is what the thief is expecting me to do. From Reddit, they said this is a legitimate push notification when they are trying to reset password via iforgot.apple.com.

The only problem is why is it not showing a location? It would be nice if they have the location where the reset password is being requested. That way I can report it to the Police, and *hope* that my device will be returned.

I keep getting the same message - I have an iPhone and two Macbooks. I recently lost my Airpods, and after not finding them within a week, I put them in "lost mode". The messages started when I found the Airpods, and took them out of lost mode. The first time I received it, I changed my password. Now it's just annoying because it happens almost everyday!!

I guess add me to the list of people having this issue. To boot, when I try to do 2fa, I get a popup asking if I'm OK with a device at some location logging in, and the location is not where I am. I tried it twice and it's definitely caused by me trying to authenticate, but hte location is incorrect. Then I found another apple support page saying that the location can be your network location not physical so if it's you, go ahead and hit allow? The location it's showing is 500 miles away. This is an absolute mess.
