Is there a Mac equivalent of the Steadymouse software?

I have a hand tremor. How do I control unwanted keys “chatter” and erratic mouse movement?

Is there a Mac equivalent of the steadymouse software? It may be easier for folks with hand tremor to abandon the Mac if there’s no solution like that

gamepad controller mapped to Launchpad Since I have upgraded to Mac OS Ventura, I see that one of the Menu buttons on my HORI Gamepad is already mapped to a function in the Mac OS. When I press this button, it automatically switches focus to the Launchpad app and shows my 'Games' installed on my Mac. I have not found a way of disabling this mapping in Mac OS in the System Settings/Game Controllers/ Anyone else have this issue?

Magic Trackpad haptic feedback not working after Ventura update on Macbook Pro My laptop: Macbook Pro 15-inch, 2017 macOS: 13.0.1 (22A400) I updated to the mac os Ventura recently, but the haptic feedback on my Magic Trackpad stopped working. All the clicks are working fine, just the vibration is missing, any help please? (the built-in trackpad on my laptop is working fine) I've tried to turn off the Magic Trackpad for few hours, and turn it back on. The haptic feedback worked for few seconds, but soon stopped. Disconnecting the trackpad or restarting the laptop won't help as well.

True, it's not a bug-fix, it's an accessibility feature request. I just sent them a link to this discussion.

Theoretically, basic accessibility ("my mouse doesn't work") is a bug-fix, unless inaccessibility is a feature. But you're right, it's not something they have now, so they'll be adding functionality for users.

It's true, I could try Bootcamp to run windows on Mac hardware. But that doesn't let me use the accessible software on MacOS. So it'd be the same as switching to Windows, which I haven't used for years. I don't want to abandon MacOS, but it's not working well for me now.

Thanks, I've seen those AMAneo Assistive Mouse Adapter USB items. They're expensive though, about US$300 or $500 in Canada. Not as full-featured as the $50 Steadymouse software fix which also helps with keyboard problems.

Interesting to see them talking about what was new back in 2005. Mice you held sideways! Half the ones you see today are descendants of those early ones.
