Apple pencil lag and handwriting looks glitchy with M2 ipados16

Only slightly as i still notice slightly wobbly lines when drawing a straight line diagonally. My handwriting slightly improved with 16.2 though.

Same problem here, works better in my iPad pro 2018 :(

I have a 5th generation iPad Pro with M1 chip. I am running iPadIS 16.2. I am experiencing the extreme lagging when using the Apple Pencil in Apple’s Notes app.

Even i am having the same issue…. I hope they fix it soon in a software update or m ded. T.T

My handwriting with my Apple Pencil looks glitchy and terrible on my new iPad Pro (6th generation), but looked good on my previous iPad Pro (5th generation). Why is this happening? Please fix it!

We’re getting close to 6 months and I’m surprised that Apple is still not looking at this issue.

supramaniam, did you also experience distorted writing with the Apple Pencil on your 4th gen pro? Like weird corner angles when drawing curves or O's where the line doesn't follow the pencil and letters end up looking blocky instead of round?

I tried a M2 model in the store and while it was laggy, there were also weird distortion. The iPad Air next to didn't distort the writing but was definitely super laggy and on iPadOS 16
