AirPods Pro 2 engraving not showing on screen

Apparantly there is another update coming soon to solve this problem, an Apple employee spoke to me on the phone.

I think its never been fix. I contacted a support just now and she said that those engraving will never showed like those we saw on youtube or some videos on internet.😭😭

1. Make sure that you're using a device thesambadlottery.in is compatible with the AirPods Pro 2. The engraving may not show up if you're using a device that isn't compatible with the AirPods Pro 2.

I’m having the same problem. I ordered my airpods with the engrave and the engrave is not showing in the popout in iphone. Done updating ios, contacted apple support but still the problem exist. Anyone knows how to solve the issue?

Same with me. I contacted apple support and they seem to not know about their product. Its kinda disappointing because even the “tech manager” does not know about the engraving should show on the iphone screen on its first pairing. He also mentioned about the version sent must be of old firmware however, its hard to update the airpods by itself.

Apple is getting to wrong side of cuustomer support. I have the same issue with my AirPods Pro (Gen 2) where engravings are not showing up on phone. I have visited apple store here in Melbourne multiple times and each time they stalled the issue that it will be fixed with new OS update but it didn't. Today, a very rude apple team member clearly told me that it is not a documeneted feature from apple so apple is not going to do anything.

I always thought apple had the best customer service but not anymore.

had mine delivered today and I’m having same issue,honestly is annoying spending £250 and having this kind of problem and Apple costumer and service is useless

How did you fix the issue, can you tell me more details? I removed Airpods from Apple ID several times and reset the Airpods also. But when pairing it’s just a plain white case popping up on my phone

Same issue.. tried several times disconnecting and reconnecting and also resetting manually but no luck. I hope they fix this with next update.

You don’t need to reset your phone, just reset the AirPods

Today I upgraded the AirPods Pro 2 to 5E135. The engraving is not visible on the iPhone yet. Such a gimmicky feature this is. It ain’t working as apple has shown and marketed this.

Not sure why Apple removed my latest post but thanks for this reply. I did the same and reset the AirPods Pro and can confirm the engraving now shows.
