Why does this screen time and app limits functionality not work? The ones I set are over-written, even tho I have block app turned on, half of the time they disappear and I have to restart the list. What is going on?

The only fix that worked for me was:
After these operations the time limit remained active. Of course, you might need Content & Privacy settings as well but this is the only thing that kept the App Limits in place.

I have the same trouble. My iOS and my son's are up to date. It started with ios16. It makes the limits worthless.
Nothing to do with new OS, been happening for almost a year. Logged bug with Apple, they never do anything. They WANT kids on the screen more!

It’s not fixed. Seriously Apple!! WTF!! Fix the **** App Limits. It’s currently worthless and I really want to limit my 14 year olds time on his phone.

I am also having this problem on my daughter's ipad. App limits last for about a week, then completely disappear and I need to set them up again. When will this be fixed?
