Where’s the option to enable it ANYWAY?
I specifically bought this iPhone for the ALWAYS ON Display, obviously Apple doesn’t actually “know” when I don’t need it - because I keep noticing it being turned off when I wanted it on! Which is, ALWAYS!!
On iOS 17.0.3, Settings -> StandBy -> Night Mode. Turn off Night Mode and Motion To Wake and it seems to stay on. Otherwise it goes off when the lights are off.
Seems like an intended design although I don't like that we don't have an option to keep the AOD whether there is ambient light or not.
This worked for me
options>standby>display
and set that to "never".
Nevermind it only works intermittently. In a dark room it will still sometimes turn off. Frustrating.
Always On mean Always ON and not sometimes On.Always On on iphone is a lie.!
My Display turnst off AT 20 oclock and i want it ON!
i bought the 15 Pro max with always and not sometimes on!
