I am having trouble with changing my print color option on my iphone 13. My computer can print in color, so the printer is ok. I have been printing from my phone for 2 years in color, but changed it to blk and white one time and can't get it back the color option. HELP. I've tried everything. Thank you.

Oh my gosh, kathyfrombasingstoke! Thank you! That FIXED IT. How did you ever figure that out? I did what you showed to do, got the color option (yay), but then my iPhone couldn't find the printer. So I turned off the printer. Turned off my WiFi on my phone. Turned the printer back on. Turned the WiFi back on. And PRINTED IN COLOR!!! Woohoo!

Since you are using a third party app to print from your iPhone and that is where you cannot change the color options, we would recommend contacting the app developer next. They would be the best equipped to investigate this issue further. Use this to contact them: How to contact an app developer

I have a new iPhone 14 and I can’t print in color from my phone. It’s not the printer, can print in color from computer.
Unfortunately i’m also having this problem but the solution above doesn’t work for me :(
Like most on here I can no longer print colour from my iPhone hpsmart app. There is no option other than black and white. I have been on many forums and also chatted to ho themself but no one has a soloution why this has started to happen. I’ve tried every trick there is to try and get it to work including all these tips on apple forum. I pay a subscription for my ink which I will be cancelling if I cannot fix the issues. So annoying. Pleas has anyone managed to fix it ?

The new format for printing, won’t let me choose black or color ink. The old format let you ok if one ink was low. I just need black. Thank you
