If you hover the mouse pointer over the library name in the sidebar, and wait a few seconds, it tells you the path and file name of the library. Is there some way to display this without the hovering bit (which is clumsy and doesn't always work)?
Doing this on my old 27" inch Mac running
macOS 10.14.6 (Mojave with all patches)
FCP 10.4.6
Is there a way to do it with the current version (which might not be as useful to me)?

The screenshot makes it look larger than it actually is and the hovering is less than 2 seconds . . . almost instantaneous.
Oh, it tells you about the project. Duh.
In my early days, I needed to know whether I had set Custom for the Video Format or not. Even that wasn't enough sometimes, IIRC.
The hover technique has been in FCPX for the majority of its life.
