Snapchat is escaping screen time control

Snapchat is escaping screen time control on my kid’s phone. My kids can download it back even I set “Don’t Allowed” to “Installed Apps” under iTune and App Store Purchases on his phone. He can still use Snapchat even it’s not on the always allows list, and have been set time limit for 1 min only. Help! He is using iPhone 11 Pro Max and you am using iPhone 13 Pro Max. There are always problem recently with parent screen time controls.

Same here with Snapchat. I found a post from user Imgzz here that worked for me (and some other users): https://discussions.apple.com/thread/253693869?answerId=257190498022&sortBy=best#257190498022

My suspicion is that SnapChat found a way to put itself on the 'allowed apps' list, but in an invisible way. It won't show up in the list. However, adding it to the list and then removing it seems to undo this. You may have to repeat this procedure every now and then (maybe when you see your child going over the limits again) - could be that Snap keeps on trying this or maybe it does it on installing the app - more tests required to find out what is happening here.
