Snapchat is escaping screen time control

Snapchat is escaping screen time control on my kid’s phone. My kids can download it back even I set “Don’t Allowed” to “Installed Apps” under iTune and App Store Purchases on his phone. He can still use Snapchat even it’s not on the always allows list, and have been set time limit for 1 min only. Help! He is using iPhone 11 Pro Max and you am using iPhone 13 Pro Max. There are always problem recently with parent screen time controls.

Did you ever figure this out? My daughters phone is doing the same thing with the exact same settings as yours.

I can see Snapchat in the social area of screen time. If you want to remove the ability for them to re-add apps that have already been approved, but then deleted, under the screen time controls where you took away the permission of installing apps you also have to take away the permission of the installing apps. Otherwise the App Store is on their phone still invisible. If it’s already an approved app for installing they can reinstall it without any challenge.
