iPhone Touch Screen not working - iOS 17

Update. My phone just randomly didn't work one morning so I had to replace through Assurion.

Hey so I also had the same issue on iPhone 13 Pro Max. woke up one morning and randomly the display was unresponsive. Tried all of the fixes suggested above and it still wasn't working. Took it to apple and they said it was a display issue charge $329. But I was skeptical about this and asked if they could reseed the display cable (as i didnt want to pay for a new display). Turns out the logic board was the issue and they had to replace the whole device. But they still only charged me for the display.

You’re one of the lucky ones tbh. After doing all that and flashing my phone it go still didn’t work and I ended up changing my whole screen by buying a cheap screen from Amazon. The quality of the screen is bad but my eyes have gotten used to it

This happens every single day. It is driving me crazy. IOS 17.1 didn´t fix it! I´m thinking in buying an Android because I have 40 days with this problem.

Same here with unresponsive touch after update on ios17.

I have iPhone 11 with older ios version 13 which is work perfectly, and now I have everyday headache because of some release before its first tested on all models from x.

maybe tomorrow will be bye bye on the wall kiss for my iphone which doesn’t work anymore.

Same here after updating my iphone 12promax to ios 17 some part of my screen mostly in the middle part of the screen is not working correctly and its been 1 week that im facing the problem exactly after the update

Using my work phone to type this, my phone is not responding! It went to an auto update, not even plugged in and it will not open, I’ve sent a test message and a call, I cannot do anything with the touch screen. I even tried the buttons to turn it off and it goes to the emergency call

Touchscreen is not responding post iOS 17.1.1 software upgrade. Mobile unlock or any other options is allowed on mobile. Restart mobile through volume and side button also did not solved the problem.

One more here, just updated to iOS 17.1.1 on my iPhone 11, it worked a few minutes and then the touchscreen became unresponsive. Hard reset doesn’t help. Seems to me this is a software error, Apple should come with a fix asap.

This has happened to me this morning. Woke up, screen was working perfectly, did the iOS 17.1.1 upgrade and the touch screen function has stopped on restart. I've done the recommended reset and nothing... I've released the right button before the apple appears, when the apple appears and after the apple appears and then disappears and the result is the same. It's and 15 Pro that was working perfectly prior to the software upgrade...

Did you see any indicator when you plugged in your phone? I’ve tried plugging in and doing both types of hard reboots (black screen and apple logo) but my phone doesn’t show any kind of indicator that it’s plugged in.

Woke up this morning and my iPhone 14 won't respond to touch...which means I can't do anything on it. Can't unlock. Can't unlock to allow accessories, nothing. airpods won't connect without it unlocking. I am on iOS 17, though not sure what subversion. I know there was an update Apple wanted me to install but hadn't had a chance yet. I can get it into recovery mode, but "update" won't work which leaves "restore" and I'll lose all recent content on the phone....VERY FRUSTRATING. It's also just over one year old...how convenient...

I am having the same problem with iPhone SE 2nd Gen. The right hand side of the touch screen wont work after i made the update to iOS 17.1.2 . Anyone with a fix on this particular phone. This has never happened it kind of odd. Is there a way of rolling back to the previous apple iOS.
