iPhone Touch Screen not working - iOS 17

Any update u got from apple, I am also facing same issue but apple putting it on hardware and asking to pay for repair cost which is huge amount

The screen on my iPhone 14 is unresponsive. I have tried touching the volume buttons and then holding down the side button but that has not worked as the apple icon never appears.

my phone becomes unresponsive after upgrading to ios18, gosh, it has become a brick now. I tried the trick mentioned here, but it did not work. :(

No the Apple rep thought it was a screen issue, and then he took it back to replace. He came back few min later saying the phone still wasn’t working when he replaced the screen so, it was an issue with the motherboard. So he replaced the whole device since that’s how Apple works

I got the exact same problem with my brand new iPhone 13 that I have purchased before the release of iOS 17, and this problem appeared after the iOS 17 update.

It is mostly happens to me in middle of calls when the light sensor turns off my screen while I’m talking and goes unresponsive when I finish talking and the light sensor won’t turn the screen back on again then I either have to spam buttons and touch screen or force restart to fix it! Because waiting doesn’t seem to be solving this problem.

Apple please fix this annoying bug.

Same here after updating my iphone 12promax to ios 17 some part of my screen mostly in the middle part of the screen is not working correctly and its been 1 week that im facing the problem exactly after the update

My phone now is in a service centre, they can completely erase all content. Then I will restore the backup made before the update… fingers crossed!

It’s clear to me that this is an software problem because not only the touchscreen is unresponsive, also wifi is not started but 4G does, and people who send me a WhataApp get a ‘not delivered‘ status, while Bluetooth does work (my headset connects) so I can answer income phone calls on my headset. Seems to be an incomplete start-up.

This one right here! I tried everything including the usual up down hold apple. Nothing worked, I gave it a shot and did up down hold black screen release. Low and behold, it worked!? No idea how or what it did!

I am having the same problem with iPhone SE 2nd Gen. The right hand side of the touch screen wont work after i made the update to iOS 17.1.2 . Anyone with a fix on this particular phone. This has never happened it kind of odd. Is there a way of rolling back to the previous apple iOS.

I am having same issues with my iphone 15 plus this is so frustrating. I never expected this from a apple device very sad to have such an issue as i am a new customer. My android never had such issues

Mine is also doing that and also the touch goes crazy like it starts clicking on other things i am not clicking on, i have considered that i may need to change the screen but now im not sure if its the IOS 17 or the screen then

I purchased an android for the time being. I was leaving town when this happened. I don’t have time to go to the Apple Store. This was my first iPhone and I think it will be my last. My android had a better battery life.

I had this issue on my iphone SE (2020). I was in a major panic because I dont have the money to take my phone to the apple store. I just kept hard resetting my phone until it worked, which took about 30-40 minutes. But if that doesnt work you might just have to factory data reset the entire phone with a computer but I would advise you try to get a screen replacement before the factory data reset.

This is happening to me! So I’m using my old 12 pro max because my other phone was updated and now I can’t unlock it most hours of the day. But my old phone is telling me I need to update this in order to use some apps because they can’t use the update I’m on, but I’m afraid my phone won’t work if I do!

Has anyone had any luck fixing the screen not responding I’ve done 3 updates hoping it would solve the issue but it’s still happening only freezes when at Lock Screen so I k ow it’s nothing to do with the hand set
