IPhone 15 Pro Max keyboard not registering clicks and some keys are not sensitive

Yes! The L and backspace are terrible! I have it on the far left side of my keyboard also but not as bad. The A and S require a long tap to work.

Looks like Apple do not want response. BTW, I have the IPhone 15 pro 256 , same issue.

Should we all return it and that’s the only way Apple will address the issue.

I downgraded from my 15PM back to my 13PM and it feels like an upgrade.

I went to the service centre in the early days of January. My IP 15PM’s screen was replaced to see if the problem would be resolved. I can categorically tell you that I’m still having the same issue. When it comes to responding to any sort of social media text directly from the notification pane, the keyboard just stops registering all my clicks. When I am on a call and chatting at the same time, the same issue comes up. I’m tired.

Yeah me too! I tried all the demo 15pm in the Apple Store, all those phones have same problem as we are having. I have checked them in different languages typing keyboard, same issues. The delete key is the most problematic one

I've just bought the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I'm experiencing a problem that wasn't present in the iPhone 13 Pro Max. This issue occurs when I activate low power mode, causing the phone to lag, hang, and suffer from a drop in frame rate.Also facing the keyboard issue

The left side of my keyboard (q,w,a,s,d,z) I have to press multiple times to get it to work, definitely not as sensitive as the other keys, very inconvenient to have to keep correcting my typing errors from this issue. I tried restarting my phone a bunch, but it doesn’t help.

Same here, updated to 17.0.3 but nothing changed.

I also noticed that generally the screen has low responses in the top left corner.Thata frustrating it reminds of 10 years ago mobiles.

Inside an app I tapped about 10 times the cancel button to respond.Whats wrong with this iphone?

I thought I was crazy when I got my 15 PM. I had a 13 PM before and almost immediately noticed that the back key “L” and “A” key were not sensitive. I have sat and tapped them and it misses every 3 taps or so. I haven’t called tech support yet because I thought I was crazy but this is reassuring that I’m not alone.

Mine is the exact same. Everyone has been thinking I’m losing the plot but I have to close the app im typing on to make it work.

I’ve updated to the latest software and reset everything and started fresh.

nothing has worked and now wondering if I should ask for a different model as this is not worth it. The over heating also is driving me mad.

Same, its the most worst keyboard i ever used. I upgraded from 14pm and it was amazing. Even the keyboard of iphone x is better than 15pm . I get all my office work done on phone and its making frustrated. Letters are not sensitive to touch and keep making my business emails having lots of typos.

Hey all, I’m noticing this issue as well. Something sticky and laggy and unresponsive with certain keys. I just got my 15PM last night and it’s been less than 24 hours. But noticed it immediately. It’s rather odd. It feels like my dictionary is working overtime because half the words I type are incomplete.

Is there any fix for this at all?

You’re welcome, glad it helped, and thanks for sharing. It just makes me curious as to what may be causing this, b/c I’m looking for another case, lol. I’m beginning to think It may not be the MagSafe element in the case then, but an internal sensor. From what I understand, these new iPhones have a barometric pressure sensor, and covering it may be affecting internal operations. Whatever the case might be, hopefully this discussion will shed some light on it.

I don't believe the case or lack thereof is the answer here as the issue, which I described in my last post, continues to be present without using either a case or a screen protector. I'm really hoping this is a software issue that will be addressed in later updates.

I have the same issue with my iPhone 15 pro max that never had this problem with my previous iPhone 12 Pro Max.

I tough something wrong with my typing but it is bad sensitive keyboard on iPhone 15 pro max I think.
