iPhone 15 Pro Max Apple Pay not working

My issue appears to be resolved now I’ve updated to iOS 17.1, although other people have said that’s when their problems started 🤷‍♀️

Did you try using Apple Pay for several times? Mine also works sometimes, especially after a restart, but then it fails again a couple of times, or I’m lucky and it works 1-2x till it fails again.

My replacement was free! Contact apple asap. They made me first take it in to Genius Bar- but once that was determined unhelpful they replaced it.

Did the above and nothing. I will call apple care tomorrow.

@Planetjumper yes mine was 3-4 weeks old and has went crazy after 17.1

That would be my next move given i've tried everything else. I'll give that a shot and report back. thx.

same issue, iPhone 15 pro.

problem got so bad I returned phone.

i also cancelled cards/ reintsalled cards, reinstalled all software with factory reset on phone.

Apple clearly know of this problem

I have the iphone 15 pro max and my phone doesn’t even want to add any cards it just says to me that “card can not be added”but i have used this card on my previous iphone ?

I am getting a replacement also from AT&T.They tried few things in Apple Store but did not help

You should have apple care plus it’s yearly or monthly the 9.99 one then another option for more coverage I’m covered for this and my screen I can’t use the touch it’s not working well

I just my iPhone 15 from Att an my double tap on the side does work

Apple phone support can test the NFC module by doing remote diagnostics. Apple Store Genius will also test the NFC module. That saves a lot of resetting and restoring etc.
