Recently app purchased iPhone 15 Pro I am using charger and cable of iPhone I am feeling more heat while charging the mobile and also playing games to play in Android the phone was not heating that much.

Let’s define “overheating”. If an iPhone overheats it shuts down so it can’t be used, and displays a message saying it must cool down before it can be turned on, and it will probably be unusable for an hour or so. If you are seeing this it is a hardware problem and you should contact Apple support:

If you are not seeing this your phone has not overheated. However, if you fast charge your phone may pause charging at 80% and display a message saying that charging has paused, and will resume when the phone cools down. This is NOT overheating, and is normal when fast charging. It also won’t prevent you from using any app you have on your phone.
Also, some apps that use a lot of energy or that use cellular data rather than Wi-Fi can cause the phone to run warmer.
I’m in the same boat it’s at 17.0.3 and still got real hot for a good amount of time then just stopped.
Yes I have updated the latest software also the problem remain same

Even My iPhone 15 still has the same issue while charging even with IOS 17.0.3 . really disappointed :( Using the in box cable and official 20w charger
My phone still overheats . I’m wondering if this will result in future damage to the battery or etc.
I just purchased iPhone 15 pro max updated to latest software charging is running really hot going to test a few days and if it carry’s on will send back my 13 pro max never got hot
Same it keeps overheating especially when fast charging they better recall the phones if this damages them

The iOS update didn’t change anything for me. Still gets very warm. I can’t watch videos at all. It gets too hot.
Is it only iPhone 15 pro that overheats or is iPhone 15 the same?
I updated to 17.0.3 and my 15 Pro Max is still getting hot! Talking on the phone, and other tasks are making it get hot. It’s frustrating, my 14 pro max never did this.
my 15 pro is getting super hot but only when charging. Please help Apple… or give us our money back and admit the mistake
Is this a hardware or software issue . My iPhone 15 pro max is way too hot. Apple needs to fix ASAP if software issue . If hardware , needs to fix issue and replace our phones.
The same with mine. Fixed the issue by returning and replacing to Android device.
