sees devices but refuses to pair. Tried all the web ‘tricks’ so far no luck.

remove device

try re-adding - nothing

reset network settings - nothing

reboot - nothing

smash iPhone and purchase android- ed just yet

Apple takes away headphone port then kills Bluetooth- Steve has to laughing!!!

Bluetooth issues as well with the 13 mini on IOS 17.1.1, it will pick up devices if they are like 10inces away but if they are further way (Ex. 5 feet) they will be dropped and when attempting to reconnect I get “make sure device is on and in range” sometimes the phone will connect to all devices no matter the distance for like 5-10 minutes then it will drop them. Again issues started after 17.1.1 Apple needs to get this sorted out because it’s absolutely ridiculous.

I have had no bluetooth whatsoever since going to 17.1 - upgraded to 17.1.1 today in the hope that this would resolve matters, but still not recognizing any bluetooth devices. I'm on a new iPhone 15

Have you put your Bluetooth devices in pairing mode for your new iPhone 15 to be able to see and pair with them? If you don't put your devices in pairing mode, your iPhone won't see them, so can't pair with them.

iPhones have never paired with each other over Bluetooth, so that's not an issue you can expect Apple to fix. They just don't support the Bluetooth pairing of iPhones to each other. This is NOT an iOS 17 issue at all.

It sounds like you have an issue with your AirPods, however, which you should take to the Genius Bar at your Apple Store to have them tested.

My issues has disappeared as suddenly as they appeared. The symptoms described above set in on Thursday last week, experienced them all throughout Friday. Then throughout the weekend I didn't experience any since I didn't use any "2 way comms", starting yesterday (Monday) the problem has magically disappeared.

Note: I haven't done anything in particular. No additional unpairing / repairing, no restarts, no updates to MS Teams or any such thing.

My issues are similar to others. As soon as I updated to 17.1.1, problems started with my connected devices. Neither my husband, who has a new iPhone, nor I can connect to our printer. I had to forget and reconnect my AirPods several times. I can't get my phone to connect to my Apple Watch. I don't know if this is related, but the Watch will only hold a charge for about half a day, even though the battery health is 99%. Maybe it's searching? I've tried the turn off--turn on sequence discussed here along with a number of other strategies, but I think this will take a visit to the Genius Bar to get straightened out.

Same, fren' same. Bose -- connects occasionally but audio garbles, gaps, quits working. Same issue with my earbuds. I'm back in the year 2001 hardwired into my iPhone with ancient Apple earbuds. I did the update, I have tons of unused space, but none of it works. The only workaround I found, and this is odd, is running audio through, my TVs screen sharing airplay. But that doesn't work for dog walks.
