Unable to access FaceTime after 17.4 update

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I’ve had a FaceTime button on all my contacts. Once I updated to 17.4 I saw a message saying I needed to get a FaceTime app from the App Store. Corrections say to tap on FaceTime in settings which I don’t have. This is really annoying and I would love to know how to get my FaceTime back without having to get a separate app for it now. Thank you very much!

I did my 17.whatever update, and decided to do a little cleaning up while I was at it. It turns out I was a little too thorough and deleted my FaceTime App. Ha ha ha... I reinstalled FaceTime, and presto! Even if you didn't delete it, as a attempted fix, you might try reinstalling FaceTime. Good luck!!

My iPhone 11 Pro Max updated to 17.4. Now my FaceTime on ONE of my contacts is NOT working. It's working on all others except one! WHY! They all have iPhone, so why is it that only one of the contacts FaceTime is grayed out and not working and the others work.

The only way to get it to work is go to Text message and click the camera and ask them to join. When they join, FaceTime will come on. But you have to ask them each time to join and you both have to be on text messages to get hold of them to accept.

What is up with this? This is one of the reason's I DO NOT like to update phone with iPhone updates. Things don't work when it's updated.

How do I fix this so this one contact has FaceTime back?
