There are various issues on my iPhone since updating to iOS 17.4.1

This new updates seems to have too many bugs, instead of fix. Wi-Fi won’t work. None of the apps open, just keep getting black screen, phone overheating, draining battery faster than charging, can’t access shared iCloud pictures, can not FaceTime. Safari is just blank page. Restarted Wi-Fi, phone, apps, but NOTHING WORKS!!! Can’t surf at all, games are blank too…. Need immediate fix!!!!

The battery loss on my iPhone 14 has doubled since the update. There is also a problems as none of the announce notifications work anymore. Before the update Siri would read them when various things like messages or other apps sent notifications.

Yes - all the settings are correct for any and all of the apps and all other settings are correct. Reboots tried multiple times. No bluetooth items are connected such as headphones or anything else. Wifi is fine, which doesn't matter any because the messages and notifications do come in but only as text. The announcing voice, even though it is correctly selected, no longer works.

Are we now all alpha and beta rats now or was this just a bad release that was never properly checked??

I'm also having multiple issues. My phone updated last night. most of my apps icons are missing, all the labels of apps are missing, no bluetooth connection to my AirPods, however it works in my car. I've restarted numerous times and it does not fix the issue. I also cannot access my iCloud settings, it just keeps asking for my password even though I've entered it correctly multiple times. these updates need to be worked out before being pushed out to the public. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have EVERY apple product- and for the first time ever I am truly thinking I might ditch the iPhone.

This is happening to my iPhone 13 Pro Max too. Camera is all messed up. I’m am through with Apple. I’m going back up android, cancelling Apple Music and Apple TV. They’ve had enough chances. Apple is by far the worst phones I’ve ever owned, nothing but problems. How do they f up the updates so bad every single time? Seriously, aren’t tech guys supposed to be smart?

My iPhone 11 is totally a dud phone right now immediately after iOS update to 17.4.1. It was in a perfect condition, with recently replaced battery, health at 98%, prior to the update. What on earth has happened!!! I tried to hard-reset the phone multiple times but it won’t even boot up. It’s totally dead as if the battery is flat (cannot be charged at all) or damaged. Apple, is this your method of getting us all to replace our good condition phones? It’s totally despicable way of doing business!

Updated Working Fix:

This fix is for those with problems with apps like Waze, Books or Files app not loading correctly, freezes or crashes when launch.

  1. Restart the phone.
  2. Quickly go to Settings and disable iCloud Drive Sync.
  3. After few minutes, enable back iCloud Drive Sync.

Now apps like Waze, Books, Voice Recorder will no longer crashes. Files app able to retrieve directories and files instantly. Handoff with Mac works again. Please upvote if this fixes your problem so others may see this working solution.
