iPhone 16 Pro Max randomly shutting down while using or locked

I’ve had my iPhone 16 pro for two months and it just shut down out of the blue for the first time. After finding this page I hope it doesn’t become a reoccurring issue.

I only had 5 apps open and I was in Instagram; had opened a store link from a page and then returned to Instagram when it shut itself down

Mine is iPhone 16 and i guess It’s already with the latest version . And i got recently, not even a month has passed, still my phone just got shut down . Please do let me know if there’s any solution

Mine does the same thing. Bought in January, hasn’t shut down until today but I have seen vertical lines flash across for just a split second. Or a random black box or suddenly blurry text. Literally fractions of a second.

today it shut off while I was scrolling TikTok. 100% battery too

I have the pro and this has happened to me once let me know if you figure out why this happened.

I have the regular iPhone 16 and mine just randomly powered off like it had died as well. When I turned it back on it was at 76%.

yip same here :( there i was thinking i was going nuts lol! Seems to be when i’m taking photos the most. Iphone 16 pro and yip like 80% battery at the time :(

16 pro, I've had it for two weeks. Had a 10-minute phone call and the phone decided that was plenty of time and completely shut down. More than 50% charged. What does this meaaaaan for us all?

In my case yeah na, auto lock nothing to do with this

Mine has just today shut off on its own two times out of nowhere. Hopefully there we can get an answer as to why it’s happening

My 16 plus has done this 2-3 times when it’s been plenty charged and I turn it back on and my apps are still pulled up in recent. Anyone know why this is happening?? These 16s ain’t cheap.

Same for me I have the iPhone 16 plus and I have it for two months now, it happened few times now more than 5 for sure ! I dont know what to do..

My new iPhone pro max shut down suddenly and cannot be restart

I’ve had my iPhone 16 pro max for just over three months now. Mine just did the same exact thing, at the same exact battery level, for the first time.

My new Apple iPhone 16 pro keeps shutting down at odd times. Fully charged. Very frustrating. It looks like man others have reported this problem,but no answers on the forum.
